You Are Invited

please join us for one of our Visitors' Days

You will have the opportunity to visit your camper, participate in several camp activities, meet our camp staff, and enjoy our famous Northern Buffet Lunch!

We will present for your viewing pleasure: Aerials, Drama, Music, Crafts, Trampolining, Dance, Water Sports (including Water Skiing) and Gymnastics - great entertainment to amaze and delight you!

Be sure to bring your swimsuit to swim in the beautiful Lake Temagami and fully participate in all activities we have to offer at CAC.

Due to the fragile natural environment and the allergic reactions of some children, we ask that you please do not bring your dog or other pet when you visit camp!

Transportation

Water Transportation

Water transportation to camp on Visitors' Days leaves from the Manito dock at the end of the Lake Temagami Access Road between 9:30am and 10:30am EDT.

Boats return to the dock between 4:00pm and 5:00pm EDT.

Please note! There can sometimes be a considerable wait for boats at the dock to travel to camp (it is a 16km round trip, after all!). Please consider bringing a book, relax, unwind, and enjoy the scenery. We will not start our program until everyone has arrived at camp!

Not the last day!

Visitors' Days are NOT the last day of a camp session!

Please do not plan to take campers or luggage with you when leaving! The last night of a session is special to cabin groups and a premature departure detracts from the full camp experience.

Island Resorts

on Lake Temagami

Many of our visitors enjoy staying in the area while visiting camp. We have listed some island resorts right on Lake Temagami, a nearby highway inn, and several hostelries in North Bay here.

The island resorts offer quiet cabin accommodation with meals in the main lodge. Most of the inns have fine dining rooms. The cosmopolitan city of North Bay, just south of us, offers a variety of accommodation, dining, and entertainment facilities.
