Counsellors 

Counsellors/Activity Staff 
Involves living with, and counselling, a cabin of excited campers, as well as leading in various program areas.  Must have minimum current Bronze Cross by June. (Counsellor bonus for current NLS).
 
Camp Nurse
Assisting our Resident Doctor, responsibilities include the daily monitoring of our campers health, recording and administrating any basic medications. 
The position is open to both RPN’s and RN’s, ideally this position would be a great fit for a student nurse.
 
Office/Administration
In our Thornhill office from May to mid June, and then at camp until Labour Day. Responsible for the camp store/tuck process, telephones, office management, parent contact and the administrative link for parents, campers, the director and staff. A key role. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Frends For Life
Program Staff
Program Staff at Canadian Adventure Camp are members of the camp leadership team.  They are responsible for the development and organization of the camp program, and the supervision of counselling staff.
  • Program Staff  are responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive staff training program prior to the camp season, and continued staff development throughout the summer. 
  • Plan and co-ordinate the delivery of the daily camp program.
  • Work to ensure the camp program is fun, challenging and safe for all campers.
  • Supervise, evaluate and support counselling staff.
  • Problem solve to ensure that all campers have an excellent camp experience and all staff perform at their best.

Gymnastics Coaching Staff
 

Must have level 2 NCCP.

Trampoline






Trampoline Coaching Staff 
Must have level 2 NCCP. 
(Shorter contracts available)





Ski Staff
Waterski / Wakeboarding Coaching Staff

Duties include: Driving a J-Craft Ski boat and Air Nautique Wakeboard boat.
Coaching children ages 6-17 in skiing, wakeboarding, barefooting, jumping and more.
Highly competitive wage including NLS bonus.
Eligable candidates must pass the Canadian Water Ski Instructors Course. (Call for Details) 



Service Crew - Maintenance
Position available from May - September
Duties include; maintaining property and equipment in good working order. Knowledge in any area of carpentry, plumbing and electrical is favorable.
This person should be an energetic self-starter.



Service Crew - Janitorial
Duties include sweeping, mopping, garbage removal and vacuuming.
Needs a "pitch-in and get-it-done" person - our health is in your hands!

Service Crew - Laundry
Position available from June to late August
Duties include washing and folding clothes. Also some janitorial work.
