I've been lucky enough to be part of the CAC staff since 2002 when I joined as a Twinkie counsellor. Since then I have spent many summers in Temagami and I am currently part of the Program Staff.
Theme Days at Camp are wicked-awesome fun, but sometimes getting a costume together at the last minute isn't so easy...the one and only disadvantage of living on an island! This year we decided to get the creative cogs spinning a bit earlier so we could let you know in advance what to pack so that you can be kitted out come Theme Day! We have decided on: 1960s for Session 1 (come with tie-dye, flowers, bright colours, scarves, long flowing hair and rose-tinted glasses...dude); Tight and Bright for Session 2 (think 1980s ... or cyclists gone wrong...); Superheroes for Session 3 (pretty self explanatory...); and Ancient Civilization Day for Session 4 (Roman, Greek, Ancient China, Ancient Egypt...). So give it some thought and find some space in your camp duffel bag for a fun and fabulous themed outfit! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
