From The Executive Tower
THERE'S JUST 4 WEEKS UNTIL CAMP!! Yes - that's right - just 4 weeks to go!! Can you believe it? In
4 (very) short weeks we'll be doin' our thing - basking in the
sunshine, learning new stuff, eating GREAT food, laughing with each
other and having a terrific time with our super new and old friends at
camp! The excitement level here at the office and at camp is at an all time high! Work
is progressing in top gear to get camp ready for the season - our boats
are washed and polished, Angharad (our main transport boat known to us
all as "Harry") is enjoying a super new engine and drive system, we have
installed new engines in our J-Craft and several other boats and our
new low-ropes activity centre (a three year project) has the first
element ready to go! We have also begun a two-year
project to rebuild our shower centre - when this is finished, it will
look like something from another planet! Our new Service
Crew Chief, Glenn Campbell (the rhinestone cowboy himself) and his
Spring Crew have many projects on the go and aim to have everything in
tip top order when you all arrive. Captain Highliner has
also joined this year's crew and is a real asset to camp preparation -
ask us about him when you arrive on Adventure Island! With
camp filling very fast, especially this past few weeks, if you haven't
registered yet (or arranged an extended 2 to 4 week stay) call us TODAY
to see if we can make room for you. We are all looking forward to seeing you in JUST 4 WEEKS!! 'Til then............be kind to each other!
