THERE'S JUST 8 WEEKS OF CAMP!!
Can you believe it? In
just 8 weeks we'll be basking in the sunshine, laughing with each other
and having a terrific time with our great new and old friends at camp! I can tell you we are so excited here about the coming season, we just can't wait for it to start! We have great facilities, a super staff and the most fantastic campers to ever go to camp! Our Spring Crew are leaving for camp next week and will be working hard to make everything perfect for your arrival. We
are re-powering our main transport boat, Angharad, (otherwise known as
"Harry") along with new engines on several of our other boats which have
now completed their two years of service and are scheduled for
replacement. Our
chef is busy perfecting new menus and will try them all out on our
(very) demanding Spring Crew so that they are "tested and approved"
ready for your dining pleasure. (We have an even more important "kid-testing"panel to give their approval to the new tastes, too). There'll
also be lots of our famous home-made bread, buns and cakes to sample,
along with several really great surprises that you are going to love! If
you are trying to decide whether to stay at camp longer - this is the
year to do it - there is so much excitement going on that it will be
hard to fit it all into one summer season. And to say that our 12 LITs are ready for summer is putting it mildly - they are literally bouncing off the walls! More in the next newsletter. 'Til then............be kind to each other!
