I have been spending my summers at C.A.C. since 1986. I have been working in the maintenance department at camp for over 10 years. At camp I enjoy providing fun and safe activities for all the campers. In the winter I manage the website for camp and I'm the editor of the Adventure Island News, the camper newsletter produced three times a year.

Located on sparkling Lake Temagami, deep in the wilderness lakes region of Northern Ontario, this modern camp is nestled into the natural surroundings of 160 acre Adventure Island
Canadian Adventure Camp has been a leader for over 30 years and continues to be at the cutting edge of gymnastics training in Canada. Under construction and ready for the 2008 summer season, C.A.C. has recently proudly announced their latest addition to the camp, a 9000 square foot open concept training gym for gymnastics and trampoline. This facility is the only one of its kind and will feature a complete training gymnasium for men’s & women’s gymnastics and a full world class trampoline centre with 4 in ground competitive trampolines including full overhead spotting belts & bungee systems. The gym also incorporates the latest in foam pit technology.
While gymnastics has been an integral part of the camp since its founding in 1975, campers are exposed to more than just gymnastics. C.A.C. features an exciting choice of programs that any child would enjoy including; General Camping, Trampoline, Water Skiing, Wake Boarding and of course Gymnastics. In addition to main program choices, campers choose from a wide and fun variety of over 35 activities daily, some of which include; Arts & Crafts, Archery, Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing, Tarzan Rope, Gyro, Dance, Music, Drama, Tubing, and even a genuine European sauna large enough for a whole cabin group to enjoy! Two Giant Water slides, a very special double-face climbing wall and a safe sandy beach in the main swimming area are just a small part of this beautiful island location.
Children attend Canadian Adventure Camp from across Canada, the U.S.A. and around the world. Campers live in small cabin groups formed mainly by age, rather than program choice, with fully-trained adult counsellors living with the children in each cabin. The safety and health of your child are always the first priorities at Canadian Adventure Camp. C.A.C. continuously updates its equipment to meet the highest safety standards as well as training staff in the latest instructional and safety techniques. Canadian Adventure Camp is equipped with a modern, well-appointed medical facility with a full-time doctor and nurse in residence. The Directors are always pleased to meet with campers and parents prior to the camp season.
